MRI Tech - PRN


Under the direction of a physician and the Lead MRI Tech, the MRI Technologist performs a variety of procedures on patients of all ages. The MRI Technologist must have the ability and competency to operate equipment. This individual is responsible for overseeing the MR screening and maintaining the safety of all who enter the MR scanner site.


QUALIFICATIONS:1. Applicant must be a Registered Technologist (ARRT), with Advanced Certification in MR. or other accrediting agencies. 2. Registry in all specialty fields is required within one year of practicing full time in that field. 3. If working in dual modalities consideration will be given to extend this period for obtaining specialty registry on a case by case basis. 4. Current BLS maintained.
1. Ability to lift and move at least 50 pounds. 2. Ability to see colors, see at least 1 mm squares. 3. Ability to reach overhead. 4. Ability to remain calm, continue to function effectively and develop priorities during highly stressful situations. 5. Ability to communicate effectively using written and verbal media. 6. Ability to move and operate equipment and carry supplies.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
